Wendy Jephson
Wendy Jephson is Founding CEO of Let's Think, a legal tech company at the intersection of Generative AI and the science of human expertise.
With increasing automation in knowledge-based fields such as law, Let's Think combines AI with behavioural science methodology to help firms capture and leverage the expert know-how locked in their best people's heads, whilst making those experts even more brilliant at what they do. Let’s Think has a pivotal role in shaping lawyering skills in the AI age through its work with TEDLaw’s inaugural training programme, launching in 2026.
Dual qualified as a commercial lawyer and business psychologist with domain expertise in law, healthcare and financial services, Wendy brings both legal and scientific grounding to her work. She previously co-founded Sybenetix, a fintech company acquired by Nasdaq in 2017. Following the acquisition, she set up and led Nasdaq's Research and Ideation function.
A recognised voice on AI and human expertise in the legal profession, Wendy is frequently called upon to address the "missing link" between AI tools and human thinking. Most recently, she was a featured speaker and contributor at the British Legal Technology Forum 2026, the Legally Speaking Podcast and The AI Journal. Her central message is that in the AI age, the true value of a lawyer lies in defensible decision-making and the exercise of judgment, not just knowing the law.
She continues to shape the future of thinking through advisory roles with AIR, the Alliance for Innovative Regulation, the Bath Institute for Digital Security and Behaviour, and the TEDLaw International Advisory Council.
