  5. Embracing neurodiversity: supporting parents and carers of neurodivergent dependents

The Legal Neurodiversity Network (LNN), supported by the Law Societies of Scotland and England and Wales, has created a report with suggestions on how best to support partners and employees who are parents or carers of neurodivergent dependents.

Supporting parents and carers with the challenges that they may face is an integral part of a holistic approach to neurodiversity and wider diversity and inclusion.

While the recommendations are directed towards neuro-inclusivity, many suggestions are best practice to enable all parents and carers to perform at their best.
