Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill 2021
The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill 2021 is wide-ranging and has been described as very significant given its potential effect, though many of the provisions do not affect Scotland.
Our Criminal Law Committee and Employment Law Sub-committee have considered the Bill, which was introduced to the UK Parliament on 9 March 2021. It had its second reading on 15 March and is a carry-over from the previous session.
