Agriculture and Rural Communities (Scotland) Bill

The Bill makes changes to the law in relation to providing assistance to farming and rural communities. The BillĀ gives Scottish Ministers the powers to develop a new support framework following the UK's exit from the EU. The Bill also allows the Scottish Government to introduce training requirements for farmers and other workers, in addition to making changes to the regulation of animal identification.

The Bill was introduced on 28 September 2023.
