Animal Welfare (Livestock Exports) Bill
The Bill makes provision to prohibit the export of livestock for slaughter, including fattening for subsequent slaughter, beginning in or transiting through Great Britain to EU member states and other third countries.
The Bill had its First Reading in the House of Commons on 4 December 2023.
