Plain English For Effective Communication
This online workshop addresses some of the challenges facing the legal sector when writing and responding to letters, reports, and e-mails. Employing some of the principles discussed, on this workshop, participants will learn how to shorten their writing, communicate effectively, and reduce time for all parties involved.
The main topics/objectives of the training are:
- How to communicate complex legal information in Plain English
- Ensuring all points raised by the customer are answered fully
- Conveying the right message, being helpful and courteous
- Grammar, punctuation, sentence length and paragraphs
- A short overview of Equalities issues when communicating in writing
