Vote for your Council member

The Society's Council plays a key role in the work that we do and each year a number of constituency seats come up for election. Make sure your voice is heard by voting for your preferred candidate.

Voting is now open

Five Law Society of Scotland Council seats are up for election in the constituency of:

  • Glasgow and Strathkelvin

Voting is open from today, Friday 2 May to 12 noon on Thursday, 15 May 2025.

Each of the candidates has made a personal statement explaining why they are standing for Council. Read the statements below to help you decide who best deserves your vote.
