Our AML and Financial Crime Conference 2026 comes at a time of great uncertainty for the sector. Illicit finance continues to pose a serious threat to legal services, and the latest government proposals to appoint a single AML regulator covering all professional services has given rise to doubts over the future of AML regulation.

Over two mornings, we will look at the best AML practices to protect your firm in the current climate. We will hear from industry experts on source of funds compliance, investigations, and financial crime protection. We will also look at what the future holds for AML regulation in Scotland.

Learning outcomes:

  • Gain insight into the developments concerning AML regulation of the legal sector

  • Develop your understanding of source of funds compliance through practical exercises

  •  Participate in group discussions on common challenges in AML and benefit from peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing

  • Gain insight into financial crime trends which are impacting the provision of legal services
