Following our successful Introduction to Trust Law Seminar in January, join us in April for our intermediate-level Trust Law: Governance and Compliance Seminar.

Whether you are an experienced trust law practitioner or wish to build upon knowledge gained from the Introduction to Trust Law Seminar, this seminar will provide a platform for you to discuss considerations relating to the internal governance and constitution of trusts. Our expert speakers will also take you through important updates on compliance issues, including the expansion of the HMRC Trust Registration Service.

This seminar will be of particular interest to private client trust practitioners, with opportunities throughout to ask questions most relevant to your own practice and engage in discussion with our speakers.

Please note, delegates are not required to have attended the Introduction to Trust Law Seminar to attend this seminar.

Learning outcomes:

  • Get advice on the challenges and key considerations of internal trust governance
  • Understand what is involved in varying the constitution of the trust
  • Gain an appreciation of due diligence and compliance issues in trustee decision-making
  • Learn about the expansion to the Trust Registration Service and how this will affect your practice.
