Bookings open for solicitor advocate introductory course
Bookings are now open for the introductory course for solicitor advocate applicants that will take place on Friday, 12 March 2021 via Zoom.
Following last year's amendment to Rule C4 of the Law Society of Scotland's Practice Rules 2011, anyone wishing to apply for extended rights of audience in the civil or criminal courts is required to attend a solicitor advocates introductory course prior to submitting an application.
The course provides practical training and explains the application process and the standards and training required to obtain extended rights of audience in the court.
The Society of Solicitor Advocates will run the March course. For more details, including costs and how to book, please visit the Society of Solicitor Advocates’ website.
