This year Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 9-13 May and we're running a free, daily programme of events.
Mental health affects us all. Some tools and conversations are universal, so some of the events are relevant to everyone. Others are designed to be more specific to legal professionals at different stages. Throughout the week, there will be an event suitable for you.
Explore each event for an outline of the session. Each event will have capped attendance, so book early to secure your place.
Loneliness – how much does it impact our mental health?
As many employees adapt to a future of working permanently from home or a hybrid approach, consultant psychiatrist Dr Aman Durrani will explore the impact loneliness has on our mental health, how we can stay connected with others and discuss why workplaces need to understand the impact loneliness can have and put measures in place to ensure the wellbeing of their staff.
Mindfulness for busy professionals
Ashleigh Halpin, HR and Mindfulness consultant, will be exploring the fundamentals of mindfulness, discovering exactly what mindfulness is and how it can benefit you in your personal and professional life.
