Premium credit instalment facility tender

The Master Policy is the compulsory professional indemnity insurance arrangement which covers all Scottish solicitors working in private practice. The Society carries out a tender process to appoint the Master Policy brokers every five years. Following on the most recent tender, Lockton will be the new brokers and administrators from 1 January 2017.

The Society is now running a tender that seeks to identify a premium credit provider who will be able to provide an efficient and cost effective service to firms wishing to use such a facility to fund their premium costs. The provider will need to work closely with Lockton and integrate with their online systems. 

The term of the facility will run in parallel with the Master Policy contract from 1 January 2017 – 31 December 2021.
