Professional Practice Updates - March 2017
It was reported to the Society that the Co-operative Bank no longer accepts Powers of Attorney created under the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 as amended.
The Office of the Public Guardian has been in contact with the Co-operative Bank and we are pleased to report that they have advised that this was not a policy intention and that Scottish Powers of Attorney will continue to be accepted.
