Thinking of studying the Diploma?

19th February 2019 | New lawyers

If you’re a final year LLB student and an aspiring solicitor, the next stage of the qualification process is the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. Applications open this week, so make sure you know what your options are ahead of time.

We want to make sure you have as much information as possible, so we’ve launched this year’s Virtual Diploma Fair which provides full course information for the six universities across Scotland offering the course.

Our Virtual Diploma Fair has further information from each university on their course timetable, fees and the electives on offer. This information should help you create a shortlist of the universities you may then wish to visit in person.

You can find out about:

  • Making the most of open days
  • University funding arrangements
  • What subjects you can study

We know there’s no substitute to attending an open day in person but if you’re a student considering the Diploma, our website can help you consider your options even before you step out the door.

Applications for the Diploma open this Friday, 22 February, and will close on 12 April. Pay a visit to our Virtual Diploma Fair and if you have any additional questions please contact Darren Kerr, our outreach development officer.

Virtual Diploma Fair

Before applying for the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, it's essential for you to be as informed as possible about your options. That's why we run the Virtual Diploma Fair every year.
