Legal firm sponsors both Dundee professional football clubs

Solicitors and estate agents McEwan Fraser Legal has been named joint main club sponsors of both Dundee professional football clubs, Dundee FC and Dundee United FC.

The deal marks the first time that the city rivals have shared the same shirt sponsor, and adds to the sponsorship already provided to Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC, last season’s Scottish Cup winners.

Inverness CT and Dundee remain in the Scottish Premiership next season but Dundee United were relegated to the Championship.

McEwan Fraser Legal has become a presence across Scotland since its formation six years ago, and this month announced its expansion into London (click here for report).

Chief executive Ken McEwan said the deal "makes us the first single company to have served as the main sponsor for three high profile clubs in the Scottish football league” – a "historic hat-trick".

He added: “This is a major scoop for our company and demonstrates our ambition in growing our brand and we look forward to building a strong relationship with all three clubs.”
