Man found guilty of disturbance at Society's office
A man was found guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at the offices of the Law Society of Scotland.
Kamal Alaroush (52), originally from Libya but of an address in Edinburgh, was said to have shouted, acted in an aggressive manner, gesticulated and showed staff a picture of a man with a gun, saying "That's me. That's me."
The incident happened on 31 October 2013 at the reception desk when Alaroush was told that the person handling his complaint was not available.
Sheriff Gordon Liddle found the charged proved and deferred sentence for reports.
