Danielle Stevenson

Senior Associate & Head of Family Law
Caritas Legal

Danielle qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and specialises in family and child law.

Danielle regularly advises clients in respect of (but not limited to) separation, divorce, pre and post nuptial agreements, cohabitation, care arrangements for children including residence, contact and relocation, permanence and adoption and children’s hearings and referrals. She has extensive experience appearing in her own right and on an agency basis at the Sheriff Court and children’s hearings as well as instructing counsel in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session.

Danielle has represented clients in a wide range of matters which can be complicated, both in and out of court, and has a straightforward and pragmatic approach to helping clients reach a solution. She is committed to resolving matters out with the court setting where possible and is collaboratively trained offering clients a further method of dispute resolution for their separation.

Danielle is a committee member of the Family Law Association, a member of Consensus Scotland and a volunteer solicitor and member of the Scottish Child Law Centre.
