Kate advises clients on a wide variety of family law matters including divorce, separation and cohabitation claims for same and mixed-sex couples. Kate particularly enjoys working on cases with a child law element, including relocations and adoptions. She is passionate about her work and understands the importance of listening to clients and building trusting relationships. Kate has been appearing in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland for a number of years and has experience of instructing Counsel in complex and high value Court of Session cases.

Clients describe Kate as being "professional, calm and reassuring" and appreciate her guidance through "unfamiliar territory".

Kate studied Law and French at the Universities of Glasgow and Strasbourg. She joined the Brodies' Aberdeen office in 2018.
