Watch our speakers cover key legal updates and strategic insight, as well as a practical debate facilitated by leading in-house counsel.

This conference brings together a wide range of expert speakers to discuss and examine a broad spectrum of issues relating to the in-house legal sector. Ranging from talks on climate conscious contract clauses and the National Security and Investment Act to panel sessions on awareness of risk as an in-house solicitor and how to tackle employment issues such as quiet quitting and flexi working, this conference gives you the opportunity to choose through breakout sessions, which topics most interest you.

On Day One, we deep dive into public procurement, looking at recent case law developments and the increased move towards litigation in the area. We also cover GDPR and data protection. There is then a broad examination by a panel on in-house risk management, helping you to be more aware of specific risks. Day One finishes with a talk by the In-House Lawyers Committee, showcasing the benefits of the in-house community platform and how you can get the most from it.

On Day Two, we hear how best to build climate conscious clauses into contacts and how effective drafting can be the impetus for change of attitude in any company towards the environment. You then have the option of gaining an invaluable update on the National Security and Investment Act or hear what comes next for in-house lawyers from the perspective of legal tech and AI. Finally there is a panel session discussing employment issues from an in-house perspective, where experts tackle questions surrounding quiet quitting and post-covid working strategies.

Key learning objectives;

  • Gain insight into employment issues within the in-house sector and how to tackle them.
  • Hear from an experienced panel about the current risk landscape for in-house lawyers.
  • Learn about driving change in your organisation through building climate conscious clauses into contracts.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the In-House Lawyers Committee’s in-house community platform and how to get the most from it.
