Advocate and solicitor members join SCTS board
Two new members have joined the Scottish Courts & Tribunals Service board.
Ruth M Innes QC joins as advocate member and Lynsey Walker as solicitor member, respectively succeeding Dr Kirsty J Hood QC and Simon J D Catto. They will serve for four years from 17 January 2022.
Ms Innes specialises in family law and is senior counsel to the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry with responsibility for the foster care case study, as well as the current chair of the Advocates’ Family Law Association. Ms Walker is a partner and solicitor advocate with Addleshaw Goddard LLP, specialising in banking and insolvency litigation, heading the firm's Finance Litigation team in Scotland.
The SCTS board is chaired by Lord President Carloway, and comprises seven judicial and six non-judicial members.
