Blackadders unveils radical new branding
Blackadders has unveiled a radical new brand, replacing its familiar black and yellow colours with an aqua and purple colour palette as well as a simpler typeface.
Emma Gray, joint managing partner of the Tayside-headquartered legal firm, said its current brand identity "has been around for some time and we think this shift feels fitting for the challenges of today and ready to respond to the challenges of tomorrow".
She commented: "Our clients and contacts will start to see our revamped logo on our new website, our social media channels, in our offices across Scotland and on our letters, emails and documents. It’s the same trusted team and high-quality service behind the new look."
The new brand was developed by the Scottish design agency LBD Studio. Creative director Liam Bonar explained: "The philosophy behind this new brand is to help Blackadders to break down some of the complexities associated with law firms and to present itself, both visually and verbally, as a modern, national, transparent and human law firm."
