Blackadders welcomes eight trainees as six move to NQ
Legal firm Blackadders has taken on eight trainee solicitors, as six who have just completed their two-year traineeships begin new roles as qualified solicitors with the firm.
Qualifying this month into new positions are Bethany Buchanan and Paul Nash (both in the Corporate & Commercial team), Emma Grunenberg, Fiona Knox and Blythe Petrie (all Private Client), and Faye Lipton (Family Law), across the firm's office in Dundee, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
The eight new trainees are Annie McNamara, Ethan Laing, Charlie Fletcher, Freddy Waller, Katy Sharpe, Kirsty McAuley, Ruairidh McKillop and Sze Ki Lam, who will work across the Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh offices. They take Blackadders' total headcount to 231.
Johnston Clark, managing partner at Blackadders, commented: “We congratulate all the newly qualified solicitors on their achievements. Not only have they made a valuable contribution to the firm since joining, but they have trained during one of the most challenging times ever due to the pandemic.
“We look forward to seeing them continue to grow within the business and their respective teams as we also welcome the new trainees on board. Blackadders is committed to helping trainees, who are pivotal to the firm’s long term vision for growth, carve out a successful career in the legal profession, and our well established training programme provides a solid platform towards achieving this.”
