Burness Paull makes financial services partner hire

Burness Paull has appointed financial services specialist Caroline Stevenson as a partner and head of its dedicated its dedicated Financial Services Regulatory team.

Ms Stevenson joins from Womble Bond Dickinson, where she was a legal director in the Financial Services team. Dual qualified, she has also worked as a senior in-house lawyer with Sainsbury's Bank.

Burness Paull said it had recruited her to take advantage of a market in Scotland that has continued to perform strongly throughout the pandemic, but is facing a new regulatory landscape emerging post-Brexit.
