Burness Paull makes private client partner hire
Burness Paull has added to its Private Client team with the hire as a partner of Euan Fleming.
Mr Fleming, who will be based in the firm’s Edinburgh office, joins from Gilson Gray where he was partner and head of Private Client. He specialises in asset protection, succession and tax planning, and the administration of estates and trusts.
Burness Paull chair Peter Lawson said the appointment would ensure the firm’s offering for private client advice to Scottish-domiciled clients matched that of its market-leading Corporate Finance team.
"Euan’s combination of expertise in private client law and his dedication to client care is a great fit with our human and high-performing ethos, and we are delighted he shares our strategic vision to grow this area of the business."
He added that continued investment in talent within the firm’s Private Client, Family Business and Tax teams was a strategic move aimed at ensuring it could support all of a client's legal needs from both a corporate and personal perspective.
