Burness Paull to relocate in Aberdeen
Burness Paull is to relocate its 100-strong Aberdeen team to a new prime office in the Marischal Square development.
The independent law firm, which employs 650 people in its three offices in Scotland, will occupy the entire second floor of 2MSQ, the grade A building which is helping to regenerate the east end of the city centre.
Comprising 122,000 sq ft over six floors, the building has the best BREEAM and EPC ratings of any office building in Aberdeen, with sustainability features and technology embedded throughout.
Other businesses at the office, hotel, and restaurant complex include CBRE, Royal Bank of Scotland, Chevron UK, KPMG, EY, Tenaris, Aberdeen Journals and Marriott International.
Burness Paull’s investment in Marischal Square follows its move to a new Glasgow office and refurbishment of its Edinburgh office which the firm undertook last year.
Managing partner Tamar Tammes commented: "This is an exciting move for Burness Paull and an opportunity to bring our Aberdeen-based team together in a modern, flexible environment suited to the hybrid working era."
She added that key to the firm's growth strategy is "ensuring we offer high-quality facilities across all our locations, where our people can work creatively and collaborate to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients".
