Charities specialist is Lindsays' latest partner hire
Legal firm Lindsays has appointed Helen Kidd as a partner in its Charities & Third Sector team.
Previously a Senior Associate with Brodies, Ms Kidd is accredited as a specialist in charity law by the Law Society of Scotland, and has served as a charity trustee on the board of a national youth work organisation and currently on the board of an independent school.
Her experience includes supporting the setting up, merging and winding up of charities, as well as advising on issues relating to governance, charity tax, trustee training and dealing with wide-ranging regulatory issues throughout the sector.
Lindsays' managing partner, Alasdair Cummings, commented: "As a firm, we are extremely proud of the work of our Charities & Third Sector department and the regard with which our team is held.
"The third sector plays a critical role in Scottish life and business. I am sure Helen’s experience, enthusiasm and counsel will prove invaluable to our clients as they navigate their way through issues caused by coronavirus and look to the future."
