Clyde & Co senior Scots partner retires
Gordon Keyden, Clyde & Co's senior equity partner in Scotland, has retired from the partnership after more than 40 years of service.
Mr Keyden began his career with a traineeship at legacy firm Simpson & Marwick in 1976 and went on to develop a successful practice, latterly focusing on insurance law, particularly catastrophic and large loss claims.
He was managing partner of the firm from 2012 to 2016, during which time he played a key role in the merger between Simpson & Marwick and Clyde & Co in 2015. He will continue with the firm as a consultant.
Thanking Mr Keyden for his service, the firm said: "Many past and current Clyde & Co lawyers have benefitted from Gordon's advice and mentoring throughout their own legal careers, and we are delighted that Gordon will continue at the firm as a consultant."
