DAC Beachcroft hires construction litigation partner
International law firm DAC Beachcroft has appointed construction litigator Jilly Petrie as a partner in its national Professional & Commercial Risks team, based in the firm's newly-relocated Glasgow office.
Ms Petrie moves from BTO Solicitors where she has advised on construction and engineering disputes for more than 15 years, since 2015 as a partner acting in complex, high-value construction and engineering insurance claims.
Suzanne Wharton, partner and head of DACB’s 70-strong Professional & Commercial Risks North practice, commented: "Jilly has an excellent reputation in the construction insurance market and we’re delighted to welcome her to DACB.
"Her appointment will be a game changer for us, as we continue to implement our ambitious plans to build our contentious construction-related offering in Scotland."
