Digital sasine service opens next Thursday
Registers of Scotland's digital submission service for the Sasine Register will open to all customers on 16 July.
Registers announced yesterday that the project was completing private beta testing and it hoped to have a public beta version live next week (click here for report).
To account for the expected number of applications, it will take a phased approach, starting with dual registrations (a transaction containing both Land Register and Sasine Register applications), and deeds under s 75 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997. These types of transactions made up the bulk of emergency submissions during lockdown.
The service will be extended to accept other deed types throughout July.
Detailed guidance on accessing the service will be made available next week.
