Edinburgh lawyer among Burges Salmon partner promotions

A lawyer in Burges Salmon's Edinburgh office is among five new partners promoted by the UK law firm.

Claire MacLean was one of the original team members who joined Burges Salmon when the firm launched in Edinburgh in 2019. With more than 16 years’ experience in real estate, she has a particular emphasis on projects within the energy sector acting for developers, investors and funders and in the built environment sector specialising in cross border portfolio transactions, hotels, industrial & logistics and offices. 

Also promoted to partner are Alex Minhinick (Planning & Compulsory Purchase), Charlotte Whitaker (Dispute Resolution), Alec Whiter (Projects) and Alex Lloyd (Corporate), all based in the firm's Bristol headquarters.
