Energy expert joins Addleshaws' Aberdeen partner team
Addleshaw Goddard has appointed a fourth partner in its Aberdeen office with the recruitment of Arran Mackenzie to its Corporate & Energy team.
Ms Mackenzie joins the international law firm from Burness Paull, bringing more than 15 years' corporate and corporate finance experience, with a particular focus on mergers/acquisitions and private equity investments, an increasingly important element of the energy transition to renewables.
She has extensive experience in the onshore and offshore energy sector, and has recently been involved in renewable energy transactions including offshore wind, smart metering, and renewable heat.
Her appointment follows that of Fiona Kindness, who joined as a partner earlier this year from Pinsent Masons.
David McEwing, partner and co-head of Energy & Utilities at Addleshaw Goddard, commented: "Arran is a driven, ambitious and talented lawyer with a great reputation. Her skillset and track record of delivering complex transactions complements our existing team and adds strength and depth to our client offering."
He added: "We are committed to building on our strong platform as we continue to attract high value transactions, projects and disputes from the UK and internationally as well as a diverse blue-chip client base with operational and corporate bases in Aberdeen and its business parks."
