Fifteen admitted to Faculty after online devilling
Fifteen new members have been admitted to the Faculty of Advocates following a period of training that took place almost entirely online.
The newly called advocates, whose training has taken place since last autumn during the COVID-19 restrictions, were welcomed at a socially distanced ceremony in Parliament House before Lord Weir.
They include:
- in Ampersand Advocates, Mary Ellen Stewart;
- in Arnot Manderson Advocates, Sarah Trainer and Cat McQueen;
- in Axiom Advocates, Andrew McWhirter and David Blair;
- in Black Chambers, John Brannigan;
- In Compass Chambers, Andrew Bergin, Tom Brownlee and Hugh Masters;
- in Optimum Advocates, Patricia Baillie, Callum Hiller and Rosalyn McTaggart;
- in Themis Advocates, Susan Fallone; in Westwater Advocates, Mark Alison.
