Franco-British Lawyers Society resumes CJEU visits
The Franco-British Lawyers Society is resuming its series of visits to the Court of Justice in Luxembourg, after a long gap caused by Covid.
The next visit will take place on Tuesday 4 July 2023, arriving in Luxembourg the previous evening. With the Society's current President being a former member of the General Court of the European Union, the visit will concentrate on the role and functioning of that court, together with, for the first time, the adjacent offices of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Since the timings will mean that nearly all delegates will have to arrive in Luxembourg the evening before, there will be a drinks reception on the evening of 3 July, to be hosted by Ian Forrester, the President of the Society, followed by an informal dinner in a local restaurant.
Those wishing to participate should contact davidglux@yahoo.fr and complete a registration form, to be returned no later than 20 June.
