Gillespie Macandrew reports further growth
Legal firm Gillespie Macandrew has reported an 8% increase in revenue to £14m in the year ending 29 February 2020.
It marks the private client-focused firm's eighth consecutive year of growth, and similar growth to that reported in each of the previous four years. The firm’s year end cash position improved to £1.4m. However the year end precedes the coronavirus lockdown.
Chief executive Robert Graham-Campbell commented: "We have delivered another set of strong financial results while continuing to invest in the business to strengthen our offer to clients.
"Most significantly this included adding the Scottish private client team from Clyde & Co, who joined mid-year.
"While the economic outlook has changed considerably since the year end with the advent of COVID-19, the sector focus of our business and our strong financial position at the outset of the pandemic, as evidenced by these results, gives me confidence that we can meet the challenges ahead."
