Glasgow partner among nine Addleshaw Goddard promotions
Addleshaw Goddard has announced nine partner promotions, including a Glasgow based legal director.
Jan Gruter joined the Corporate & Commercial team in 2018, and has acted on behalf of a range of asset and fund management clients, especially private equity, real estate and infrastructure fund managers. Part of his new remit will be to raise the firm's profile in the area of asset management.
Across the firm, four of the nine promotions are women. There are five appointments in the Corporate & Commercial practice, two in Finance & Projects and one each in Litigation and Real Estate.
Addleshaw Goddard has also revealed that, from 1 May 2021, just under a quarter of its equity partners will be female following this year's equity partner promotion process.
David Kirchin, head of Scotland at Addleshaw Goddard, commented: "I'm delighted that Jan has been promoted into our partnership.
"Jan has played a key role supporting fund and asset managers during the changes, and turbulence, we have seen over the last few years, and this promotion is testament to a fantastic contribution. This is a firm where talented people can flourish and it is great to see Jan doing just that."
