Hewitson steps down at Munro & Noble
A longserving partner at Inverness legal firm Munro & Noble has retired after almost 40 years at the firm.
Executry partner David Hewitson, who qualified in 1981, is now stepping down. Managing partner Alpin Stewart takes on the role of head of the Executry department, assisted by solicitor Chris Allan and paralegals Suzanne Bebbington and Morag Campbell.
Paying tribute to Mr Hewitson, the firm said: "Over the years David has guided many clients through distressing and challenging times following the death of their loved ones. He has also had a really positive influence on the firm and staff. His strong moral and ethical principles are a legacy the firm will be proud to adhere to for many years to come.
"The whole firm wishes David many happy years of adventures. He has been a fantastic servant to our clients and to the firm. Thank you David."
