Hey Legal to run first social livestream
Hey Legal is running its first social livestream this coming Tuesday, 11 January.
The online platform for Scottish lawyers has a high profile lineup for what its billed as "a blend of legal community chat, insight and practical tips".
No pre-registration is necessary; anyone can go to the Hey Legal YouTube channel from 7pm on Tuesday.
Hosted by Edith Forrest, advocate, the session begins with Dean of Faculty Roddy Dunlop QC and Iain Smith, partner of Keegan Smith Defence Lawyers, discussing the importance of staying connected with each other during challenging times in the profession. That will be followed by solicitor Aamer Anwar talking about Murder Island, the recent hit Channel 4 show written by Ian Rankin in which he featured along with other court lawyers. Mandy Gordon of Cycle Box will then discuss fitness regimes that fit with busy professional lifestyles.
Subscribers to Hey Legal's YouTube channel will receive a notification of the event going live.
