Iain Nicol joins Lefevres as litigation director

Personal injury solicitor Iain Nicol has joined specialist litigation firm Lefevres as a legal director.

Mr Nicol moves from Balfour + Manson, where he was a partner for four years.

A Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, he is also the current convener of the Law Society of Scotland's Civil Justice Committee, a peer reviewer for civil legal aid and a member of its Pursuers' Panel which advises on negligence claims against other solicitors, as well as being a member of the Scottish Civil Justice Council's Costs & Funding Committee.

Mr Nicol described his move as an "exciting opportunity" to join the "high quality team in the specialist field of personal injury" at Lefevres, which has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
