Insolvency lawyer Yvonne Brady joins Morton Fraser
Leading restructuring and insolvency lawyer Yvonne Brady has joined Morton Fraser in a specially created post, the firm announced today.
Ms Brady, who has a 30 year career in the insolvency and restructuring market, becomes Head of Strategy – Restructuring and Insolvency as from 12 April. She joins from Shepherd and Wedderburn, where she was partner in corporate recovery, and head of diversity, development and inclusion. She has also held roles at DLA Piper LLP and HBJ Gateley (now Addleshaws).
In addition she is convener of the Law Society of Scotland's Insolvency Specialists Committee, a trustee on the board of Quarriers, and one of the trustees of the Leuchie Forever Fund, which supports a specialist respite care provider in East Lothian. In 2019 she was named Best Professional in Business at the Scottish Women's Awards.
