Journal Employment Survey explores pandemic times
How has COVID-19 affected your place of work? What is your experience of working from home? How do you see your prospects? These topics have been added to this year’s Journal Employment Survey, now open to all Scottish solicitors and those training to enter the profession.
The annual survey, which also covers pay and conditions; wellbeing and stress; business outlook, and more, provides valuable data for the Law Society of Scotland and will be reported on in the December Journal.
The survey is open until 9 November 2020 and should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous.
Journal editor Peter Nicholson commented: "Previous Journal Employment Surveys have revealed the extent of issues like bullying and harassment in the profession, and stress on practising lawyers. We hope this year's survey will provide an insight into the balance of advantage in different sectors between working from the office and from home – as well as the wider career picture that we paint each year."
