Ken MacDonald re-elected Advocates in Aberdeen President
Ken MacDonald has been re-elected to serve a second term as President of the Society of Advocates in Aberdeen.
Mr MacDonald, who specialises in commercial disputes and international arbitration at Brodies LLP, is the first President in more than 40 years to have his term extended by election. The decision comes as the Society continues to navigate the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
He commented: "I am greatly honoured to have been asked by the management committee to serve another term and to have that proposal endorsed by our membership. Despite the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been able to continue to support our members, in particular, those at the beginning of their legal careers. I look forward to working with our members and our management committee into 2021."
