Longserving Inverness duo retire from WJM
Two solicitors from the Inverness office of Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie (WJM) are retiring after over 88 combined years in the legal profession.
George MacWilliam and Ian A MacDonald, both Inverness locals, have been with WJM since the firm merged with MacArthur & Co in 2015.
Mr MacWilliam has practised in WJM’s commercial property team; Mr MacDonald has dealt with wills, trusts, powers of attorney and company secretarial services.
Angus MacLeod, partner and head of WJM’s Inverness office, commented: “Working with George and Ian has been an absolute pleasure. They’re two of the most respected solicitors in the Highlands who have each built up a fantastic reputation over the course of their careers.
“We’ll be incredibly sorry to see George and Ian leave the team. We’ve been working hand-in-glove over the last few years to ensure a smooth handover for all their clients. They’ve been instrumental in building the extremely strong team we have here in Inverness and will be leaving their clients in excellent hands. We wish them all the best in their well-deserved retirements, and we’re sure they won’t be strangers to the WJM office.”
