Macdonald Henderson joins commercial law alliance
Glasgow legal firm Macdonald Henderson has accepted an invitation to join the business law firm network, International Commercial Law Alliance ("ICLA"), becoming its sole Scottish member.
ICLA is a strategic group of law firms from around the world which allows clients to access experts in many jurisdictions, confident that their matter will be handled with care and commitment to excellence, whatever the relevant state or law may be.
It was established over 10 years ago, originally as a European alliance of business law firms. Since then, firms from further afield, such as the USA, China, Brazil and Russia have joined. It currently has members in 34 jurisdictions and is still expanding.
"We are pleased to note that, even at this nascent stage, Macdonald Henderson is seeing terrific benefits for its international-facing client base", the firm said.
"With the continued focus on overseas exports as a means of achieving Scottish and UK economic growth, as well as an increase in inward investment, we consider this to be an essential strategic step in ensuring that our clients receive the appropriate advices, wherever they trade in the world."
