Miller Hendry announces new year moves

Tayside legal firm Miller Hendry has made three new year promotions at its Perth and Dundee offices, along with a recent senior solicitor appointment.

Lindsay Kirkwood has been promoted to associate in the Private Client department in Dundee. Having joined the firm as a trainee in 2015, she deals with a range of services including wills and estate planning, powers of attorney and long term care planning.

Also promoted in Private Client is Samera Ali, who becomes a senior solicitor in the Perth office, as does Michael Johnston, in the Residential Property department. 

Sharon Somerville has joined the Commercial team as a senior corporate solicitor based in Dundee. Previously with Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie in Dunfermline, she handles a broad range of corporate and commercial work, including company and business acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations, commercial contracts and intellectual property.
