Scotland’s emergency coronavirus laws have been extended for a further six months until March 2022.
MSPs have voted to give the Scottish Government the powers to introduce rules on the population while the country recovers from the pandemic.
The current laws are due to expire on 30 September 30, but the Coronavirus (Extension and Expiry) (Scotland) Bill passed yesterday means the Government retains powers to 31 March 2022.
