Panel revealed for SYLA Women in Law event
The Scottish Young Lawyers' Association has announced the panel for its annual Women in Law seminar, held to coincide with International Women's Day.
The event brings together a number of high profile and inspiring women from the Scottish and English legal community to share their personal experiences on issues such as women’s rights in the UK and international context, women in the judiciary and boardroom, and whether the glass ceiling remains an issue for female lawyers in the 21st century.
This year's forum will be chaired by Emma Boffey, associate at CMS and a Past President of SYLA. The panel includes:
Rachel Barrett, barrister, Cloisters;
Susanne Tanner QC, FCIArb, Ampersand Advocates and Crown Office Chambers, a First-tier Tribunal judge in the Housing & Property Chamber, and Health & Education Chamber;
