Partner and legal director promotions at DLA Piper
Two solicitors at DLA Piper Scotland have been advanced at senior level as part of a round of promotions at the global law firm.
Carolyne Hair has been promoted to partner, Real Estate and Sarah Letson to legal director in Finance, Projects & Restructuring.
Ms Hair, one of 19 new partners named by DLA Piper worldwide, has been with the firm since 2005 focusing on investment acquisitions and disposals for high profile funds and property companies. She has also accumulated significant experience acting for landowners in the disposal of residential development sites.
Ms Letson, who joined DLA Piper’s London office in 2011 and moved to Edinburgh in 2019, has experience in all aspects of non-contentious restructuring and insolvency. She acts for a variety of stakeholders including banks, funds and office-holders in respect of domestic and international financial restructurings.
