Partner promotion at MacDonald Lynch

Glasgow legal practice MacDonald Lynch has promoted Robert Telfer to partner.

MacDonald Lynch was formed a year ago when Elaine MacDonald acquired southside firm Lynch & Co, established in 1984. The rebranded and expanded Mount Florida firm now employs eight people, under Ms MacDonald and Colin Carr. Mr Telfer, who joined the new firm at launch, becomes part of the leadership team from 4 July.

Holding a Doctorate in European Competition and Consumer Law from the University of Glasgow, where he also completed his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, Mr Telfer has worked in real estate as well as legal practice. As a solicitor, he specialises in conveyancing, wills, power of attorney and estates.
