Plexus law makes lateral partner hire
Plexus Law, which specialises in defending claims on behalf of companies and their insurers, has made a partner hire for its Edinburgh office.
Calum Mathieson has joined the firm from Clyde & Co. He was a partner there, and with its legacy firm Simpson & Marwick, and has over 25 years’ experience of dealing with complex and large loss employer, public and product liability claims on behalf of major insurers, Lloyds syndicates and corporate insureds. He also manages health and safety prosecutions on behalf of corporate insureds.
Cameron McNaught, partner and head of Plexus Law’s Edinburgh office commented: “A very warm welcome to Calum from everyone at Plexus. We are thrilled to have attracted a partner of his calibre to the firm. Calum’s arrival will further strengthen our service offering in Scotland and he is a most welcome addition to the team.”
