Private client associate hire for Lindsays

Legal firm Lindsays has expanded its Private Client team with the appointment of a new associate.

Leann Brown has joined the Dundee office from Miller Hendry, where she has spent the last eight years.

She brings 12 years of experience across the spectrum of private client work, including wills and powers of attorney, setting up trusts, elder client law, the administration of trusts and executries, and estate planning advice.

She also holds a Masters degree in civil engineering from the University of Dundee, where she undertook her legal studies.

Lindsays has also appointed Qasim Ali as a solicitor with the Corporate & Technology team, based in Glasgow.

Previously with Pinsent Masons, he has experience of advising a variety of commercial clients including SMEs, banks, international companies and business owners, on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and general corporate matters.
